Implantable Fillers

Wrinkles are caused by the loss of collagen from the dermis layer of your skin. We now have naturally derived substances that can be used to fill wrinkles or scars. When a wrinkle or scar is too deep or not easily treated using other methods, Juvederm, a collagen-like substance, is used to “lift” the scar or wrinkle and fill in the area where your skin’s natural collagen is missing.
